We know that cost can be a barrier for communities participating in national conversations and professional development opportunities. So, to make sure that the voices from communities and experiences of place-based organisations are front and centre at the Place-Based Impact Summit, we are pleased to offer travel subsidies to assist more people working in or alongside place based initiatives to attend.
This opportunity is for people working in / with place-based organisations with a focus on data, measurement, evaluation and learning, with priority given to regional and remote communities.
What’s available?
- We are offering travel subsidies with funding of up to $2,000 per person which will help cover:
- One Summit ticket (valued at a $500 Early Bird ticket)
- Travel and accommodation costs (including flights, fuel, transport, accommodation and meals)
Applications are now open and will close on 1 May at 5.00pm AEST, or when all funding has been allocated.

Who can apply?
- People working in or alongside place-based data, measurement and/or evaluation.
How applications are assessed
- Applications are reviewed within 5 working days
- You will be notified of the outcome within 10 working days
In reviewing applications, we will consider:
- Your connection to place-based work
- Your need for financial support to attend
- Geographic spread and diversity of applicants
