The PLACE Community Roadshow and Listening Tour is a 10-week community engagement initiative from 25 March 2025 to 14 June 2025.
We recognise that each community is unique, with its own context, priorities, and ideas. The aims of the Tour are to:
- Listen to your stories, understand your work and learn from your experiences
PLACE staff and board members will visit a diverse range of communities to listen to the experiences of local residents, organisations, and initiatives. - Share and refine PLACE’s approach
We will present our emerging strategic plan and first-year priorities, gathering real-time feedback to refine our approach. - Explore partnerships
We hope to forge long-term connections and collaborative projects with the communities we visit—identifying areas for potential partnership and outlining other opportunities for you to be involved in PLACE’s governance.
The Community Roadshow and Listening Tour is a series of community-hosted meetings—rather than public events—arising from an Expression of Interest process. Attendance is by invitation from the local host.
